My friend Nate has been telling me about this band for months. For me, they have been one of those bands you constantly hear about, but never get around to listening to. Last week, FINALLY, I got my hands on their album Volume One. Friends, this is an album you need to have. Ever since the Rilo Kiley let down I have been itching for another female lead singer. While I love these She and Him songs, it makes me a little sad. This is the album Rilo Kiley should have made, or at least something similar. Well, when old friends disappoint you and leave you to writhe in agony at even the MENTION of their awful new album, it's a good thing that we have artists like Zooey and Ben who are still putting out folky rock that is a pleasure to listen to.

She and Him
